HGV Class 1 Night Drivers – Stockport

DNA is currently seeking professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client based in Stockport. Due to continued growth, we have immediate openings for dedicated night drivers to join a long-term, stable operation with a clear path to a permanent contract.
The Roles
Both positions primarily involve night trunking with occasional local work during quieter periods. Shifts average between 10 to 12 hours, depending on loading times.
Option 1: Monday to Friday
  • Shift: Monday – Friday (Fixed)
  • Start Time: 19:00 (7 PM)
  • Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Option 2: 4 On / 4 Off Shift Pattern
  • Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off (includes weekends)
  • Start Time: 19:00 (7 PM)
  • Pay Rate: £18.50 per hour (Flat rate, including weekends)
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months' experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
  • Licence: Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Compliance: No more than 6 points for minor endorsements. (Strictly No DD, DR, or IN codes).
  • Background: Must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history and undergo a CRB/DBS check.
